I've decided that I don't really like Philly whenever it rains. The only 2 times I've thought "I hate this town" is when I've been caught in the rain. I know, I know....wait until winter, huh? Today I had to go to a meeting a few blocks away and, of course, there is no tunnel system so I had to walk in the drizzle. At least it wasn't full blown rain. But the wind was something else. At one point I was on the corner between two buildings and it must have created a wind tunnel because I saw people's unmbrellas flying inside out. Which is always a funny sight for those who are in the safety of their own car or office building but not necessarily for the one holding the inverted contraption. I almost couldn't hold my body upright in the wind. I felt like the weather men you see blowing around when there's hurricane news.
Kyle and I are at Cosi, the little coffee shop across the street. He just finished up his test and met me here to eat some dinner. And I get a chance to blog for a bit. Well, I'm signing off for tonight and I'm looking forward to Friday. But, before we go, Kyle and I have an important message for one of our blog's biggest fans....my mother in law, Debbie.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you had fun tonight at the surprise dinner location. Oh, just heard it was Miramont...fabulous! Sending you hugs, Kyle & Lori
