What Is In A Name?

So we have some news to share. We have decided on a name for Princess B. We thought long and hard and finally decided on

"Why?", you ask. Ok, I'll tell you why:
Anna is a pretty name we both like and means "grace/favor/gracious" something to that effect. The meaning was an important thing for us. Grace has always been a favorite name of mine but when it came down to naming I changed my mind about using the name Grace but wanted something that still held the same meaning.
Maye is a combo of Maya (my mom's name) and Faye (Kyle's mom's middle name).

Since John Thomas has our dad's names I thought it would be nice to include our mom's names with the girl. And I wanted to get them both in there because who knows if we'd have another girl the way the Bethancourt genes run strongly for little boys.

Some other benefits include:
Each family member will all have 4 letters in their first names
John can already say "Anna"

So there you have it! Baby Anna will be here in a few short months so we have lots to do! I am already on crafty overload between preparing Anna's room and John's big boy room but that is another blog post in itself. Let's just say my sewing machine is being put to very good use and hallelujah the crib bumpers are finished!

Love it! Maybe some day I'll get to meet both John and Anna. Family vacation to Philly? :-)

Anna Maye is just lovely! I think it just "fits" so well with your family. Can't wait to meet this little girl!

That is so fun to already have a name! Very cute!

So this is totally random, but I am buying a sewing machine soon... Do you like the one you have? Any suggestions?
