A Weekend With the Sickies

Well, I don't have much to say except that I've been sick and tired since Friday. I'm not sure what happened to me. Thankfully my mom was able to take John to her place on Friday so I could sleep all day and lay on the couch. John ended up sleeping over at Mimi & Popeye's which allowed me to get some extra rest. Thanks Mom & Dad!

Today I'm still recovering and we had to miss a birthday party for one of our neighborhood friends which is a real bummer. I have lots to do with preparing John's big boy room so I'm annoyed at my complete lack of energy the past few days. Oh well, I'm hoping to pick that project up tomorrow.



So as I was browsing through the newspaper today I noticed this picture on the front of the travel section

I thought the scene looked familiar and when I read the headline I knew why! This is the place Kyle and I went to back in May....

Ah, that picture made me wish I was back there again. We were hoping to take a vacation before Baby Anna arrives but I don't think it's going to happen. Time is passing too fast and I have a feeling this little one will come sooner rather than later. Unless it's a quick weekend trip, we'll just have to wait until after she is here....
