Shopping at Barney's & Seeing 'Pirates'

So Kyle FINALLY had a Saturday where he didn't have to either work from home or at the office. It was nice having him around. We went to the Guggenheim Museum and then we walked along Madison Ave. and went into some ritzy stores including Baccarat, Hermes, & Barneys. We were up on one of the Barneys floors and Kyle spotted one of the Olsen twins from the 90s sitcom Full House. Not sure which twin it was? She was browsing the Jil Sander section. We were two of about 6 people on the floor with her and I noticed a big burly guy by the elevators with an ear wire behind his ear who was watching her closely which must have been her bodygaurd. As we left the store we saw a paparazzo hanging out by the entrance ready to pounce her, I'm sure, when she left. There must've been several famous people in Barney's b/c there were about 5 black Escalades lined up outside. So that was a pretty exciting celebrity sighting for the day.

I better sign off for today. Kyle and I are off to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest at the movies tonight. I'm SO excited. I'm a big fan of the first movie so this one better not disappoint!
