Speaking of dressing disasters....I met Kyle for dinner last night and
noticed his socks just didn't go with his outfit. He claimed he knew
what he was doing but I have a sneaking suspicion that the weird
lighting in our apartment was the culprit.....Strike Three! in the
dressing department. Kyle and I will have to be eachother's mirrors
from now on.
So yesterday was a great day. It turns out Kyle was able to leave work
after we ate. Rare is the occasion when he is free at the early hour of
7 PM so I was happy to have him come home instead of leaving him to
finish his work. We had a fun, relaxing sunset dinner by the Hudson
River....I almost forgot how much fun Kyle and I have when we're
together. He cracks me up!! We headed home to watch Project Runway
(which has become one of my favorite TV shows).
On the way home I stopped in this store across from our apartment called Sabon (www.sabonnyc.com). I am obsessed, OBSESSED with their products. You can smell the store about a 1/2 block away. They sell soap, body scrubs, lotions...girly things galore...the ingredients in the products are all from the Dead Sea. When you enter the store the sales people make you wash your hands with the scrubing salts and BOY is that the best sales technique ever! I could've bought the whole store but I settled for a body scrub so I could give myself home pedicures. Straight from the Holy Land to my little toes! Feet get gnarly in this city and a girl's gotta do something about it!
