Miscellaneous Thoughts of the Day

The weather is cooling down, the leaves are falling, and I just put Christmas music on my iPod last night and now I'm happy as a clam getting into the mood of Christmas while I work. I know, I know, it's not even Thanksgiving yet...but are there songs for Thanksgiving? no, I don't think so. I can't wait for the holidays in Philadelphia. I love the spirit in the air.

Yesterday Square and I were swaping war stories about the frantic pace in NYC and how silly we think it is. She is working as a schoolteacher and her profession goes at breakneck speed as well. I was thinking maybe it was just my business. But apparently it's everywhere. This is definitely not a place to stay for a long time. I can feel the frantic-ness in my bones and it's not a feeling I want to feel 24 hours a day. Philadelphia is fast paced but certainly not as much as NYC.

I made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner tonight. It was pretty good. Kyle stated he thought it was the best meal I've EVER made. Wow, thanks Kyle! It was yummy. I'm having fun trying out new recipes lately. I feel so empowered with the Food Network!

On a different note: I have been scouring Ebay for a particular Pottery Barn duvet cover and I finally spotted it and won the auction a few days ago. I received my package today and it looks WONDERFUL! I love Ebay!!
