Goodbye Food Truck, Hello Taco Soup!

I decided that my "regular" lunchtime food truck person is no longer.
The reason for the abrupt change, you ask. Because regular he is NOT.
And I can't stake my lunch time cravings on someone who is not
dependable. So that's the story. Period. He had it coming....over the
past few weeks I noticed the food truck has been missing at the usual
20th & Market intersection. I've given him the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe he keeps strict lunch hours and I've been missing him due to my
recent lateness in taking lunch? But I have the sneaking suspicion he's
probably toodling around in his food cart on some other corner that is
too far for these little 2-inch heels to transport me to, making other
people turkey hoagies and leaving me high and dry! So that's it for
you, Mr. Food Truck Man!

Good news. Kyle received some of his test scores back from last week's finals and he did well. So he is in good spirits today.

Kyle is such a sweetheart. You all know that already but I have to give
him extra applause. Did he know what he was getting into when he
married me?! He has put up with a lot of my lunatic tendancies of late.
I'm definitely a happy camper, I just overanalyze & am super hard on
myself when I make mistakes (mostly I'm talking about when it comes to
work stuff) and I think sometimes that makes me unpleasant to be
around. But Kyle is always positive and encouraging and points out the
good things I do like....make excellent taco soup for dinner last
night! Even if we now have enough taco soup that we could bathe
ourselves in the stuff (the recipe sure does make a lot!). He's so even
and I'm so all over....but I'm sure God put us together so we can learn
from each other....I think that's the point, huh? OK, so enough of the
philosophical stuff. Overall, today, November 1st was a super day!
Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I can FEEL it! Consider the
Turkey, he only has 23 days left. He has a reason to be down & out. Me?
no excuse!!
