Ready for the Weekend

I just discovered there's no La Madeleine around here. Not even in the burbs. It's a southern thing. What? How will I survive winter without tomato basil soup?! I don't believe this....

I'm soooo excited about this weekend. Kyle and I had talked about renting a car and visiting the city of Valley Forge but especially Valley Forge National Historic Park. There's a museum there and lots of interesting history on the famous battle that George Washington led. BUUUUT, I went to work today and my neighbor told me about a place called Longwood Gardens which is this massive acreage owned by Pierre duPont. It is supposed to be really beautiful. Now I can't decide where to go? And, of course, I want to visit quaint little Amish Country. I think it'd be fun to go to the Adirondacks in upstate NY too. There are so many fun places to choose from....

Looks like this may be the last week before it turns cold. I hear there's a cold front a comin' through.

Lastly, I'm happy to report that I made it through Wednesday (so far) without bruising myself. Ok, I'm off to work out....I'm turning over a new leaf....
