So we were invited to the last polo match of the season at the HPC by a friend of Kyle's. We've never been to a polo match but were invited last year to visit the Santa Barbara polo matches by a different friend during our trip to CA. We didn't go because I was preggie and we didn't want to make the long drive to So Cal from No Cal. Ever since, we have been curious about this polo thing. So upon receiving the invitation for Sunday night in Houston we decided to give it a go. Let's see what these dog-gone-high-falutin' polo matches are about! It was a family event so we took the little ones.

John decided to whet his thirst with a Pellegrino....because that's how he rolls when he attends polo....
Anna is just happy to be outside....polo what? polo who? I'm cute and that's all I know!
John just couldn't stay up in the bounce house.....and loved every minute of it

Here's John enjoying watching the "poor horse". Apparently he was saying "polo horse" ....but, yes, I must agree with "poor horse". Those beasts are rough out there and it's hot (in case I hadn't mentioned that before???)

It was actually quite interesting to see the game (not that I understood anything) and a good outing for the fam.

A big howdy from your "friends in CA!" Looks like a great family outing, and hope to get you all out here to SB to catch a match at some point. Adrian also loves the horses, so maybe we can get the boys to play together when they're just a bit older (I started riding at 4 yrs). That means Kyle better get back in the office- those ponies don't come cheap! Hope you are all well! The Caleels
