The Vacation's Over

Ahhh...we're back. Back in Philadelphia where the rain has come out to welcome us home. Sunny California is now just a fading memory....

We had a great time in California. I'll post the pictures soon so you can see them. After Carmel Kyle and I snuck away for one night to Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa--the most relaxing environment. Everywhere you look people are strolling around in their robe and slippers. Not a care in the world. I spent 2 straight days parked by the pool and I'm not ashamed of that fact. The second day I got an Herbal Body Wrap that was so hot I thought I was going to pass out! I'll have to remember that wraps are not for this girl! I am a person, not an enchilada. I'm sure I sweat a gallon of water out.

By the time we got back to Alamo, Justin & Erin & The Boys were there. We got to hang with the triplets and Jack who are avid golf fans, we have discovered. They can spend hours entertaining themselves with the practice putting green. We also took them rock climbing on Mt. Diablo. They were so excited to be climbing the BIG rocks. Justin & Erin sure have their hands full with 3 three year olds and a 1 year old. We said good bye to them since they will be going to Jakarta in about 5 days from now. You can check out their new blog about their adventures moving to and living in Indonesia at www.JavaFor6.blogspot.com (cute name, huh?)

The fun part was having everyone together at Kyle's parents house even if it was for a little bit. Phillip & Cami and Christina & Chad showed up on Friday night. We got to visit with them for a few short hours since we left early Saturday for a wedding in Denver.

...And Kyle starts school tomorrow and I started work today....tomorrow I'll be in New York....and it all starts over again. 9 months to go!
