All At Once!

We went to the pediatrician on Friday for The Nanna's 6 month check up...Here are her stats:

Length: 25 1/2" (25-50%)
Weight: 13 lbs 12 oz (10%)
Head size: 16 1/4" (25%)

I would be rich if I had a dollar for every time some said "She's so petite!!" when they see her. She is petite, indeed, but the doctor said she's not worried because she has little "chubby cheeks and a chubby belly". And just for comparison....John was 13 lbs at 3 months.

Well, my darling little baby has been through the ringer in the past 24 hours. While we were waiting for the doctor I noticed 2 little nubs coming out of her gums...she is getting her 2 bottom teeth in! That explains her being a bit off schedule this week and having trouble sleeping. We also discovered she has a yeast infection AND she had to get 3 shots and an oral vaccine yesterday and they have not sat well with her. All this on top of her eczema (by the way, the Burt's Bees stuff is really helping keep her skin moisturized....I'm impressed with my little arsenal and thanks to all of you for your suggestions!!) Bless her petite little heart! She has a slight fever and runny nose and has not slept more than 2 hours in one stretch since yesterday morning and when she's awake the only thing that makes her happy is being snuggled close. I'm trying to accomodate her because I feel so bad...she has a sad little cry like she's in terrible pain. If you think of us, please pray for Anna to feel better soon.

Last night Kyle and I had date night at Chuy's again (our new favorite place). We took John to my parent's where he spent the night (and luuuuved it, mind you) but Kyle and I were on duty with Anna all night since she was out of sorts. Well, that's the only update for now. I hope tomorrow is better for the Little Miss and I can blog some more positive news for you!

PS - One thing that does make me happy....It's FALL! I just love this time of year and I'm so excited for all the autumn decorations and the crisp, cool air (I mean, it is 85 degrees here in Houston...that's practically sweater weather for us)

Oh, that sounds bad. I hope she is better now. We also are huge Bert's Bees fans. I got a giant gift set at a shower for P and we love it. Even the diaper rash cream smells heavenly.
