(sung to the merry tune of the Happy Birthday song)
Happy Birthday to meeeee
A 'Frigerator, what gleeeee!
Happy Birthday dear me-eeeee
More food capacity: times threeeee!
(well, really, just times two but that didn't rhyme now, did it?)
My birthday is coming up and Kyle keeps asking me what I want and all I can think of that would really make me a happy camper is a second refrigerator. I know, how old and boring am I? What girl asks for a stinkin' refrigerator for her birthday? Me.
I thought about it a lot but this was my wish for the ol' 3-1. I am beyond blessed and can't think of anything really fantastical I want for me this year---except to have an overflowing cornucopia of food and drink in my utility room. I have been pleading with my dear hubby for a second refrigerator for a while now and with our growing little family it has become apparent that refrigerator #1 needed some back-up.
We got this for a great deal at Best Buy. It had been loaned out as a temporary friggie since one of their customers' real refrigerators blew out. It was used for a few days as a "loaner" you might say. And we scooped it up at a scratch n dent price!
Do you know how much frozen breastmilk I can get in there? How much pureed frozen baby food I can accumulate? How much Costco inventory I can cram into my little extra friggie? How many baby shower/party platters I can store in there? How many root beers, juices, yogurts, and smoothie mixes I can hoard????
I am in luv with an appliance and I'm stopping this post right now because I can't even believe I dedicated a whole blog post to a refrigerator.
