Secret Boo

Family Night at John's school was fun. John and his buddies ran around the gym (where dinner was served) like wild animals. John may or may not have been involved in causing the giant partition to almost fall on 4 tables had there not been lighting-quick reaction from one of the mom's to keep the partition from falling ....

The puppet production of the Three Little Pigs was mesmerizing. John was really intrigued by the puppets and enjoyed dancing to the music. So much so that he bumped his head on one of the metal chairs due to some vigorous dance moves.

Today Kyle went off to College Station for the game against Tech. It was such a beautiful morning so John and I walked to Walgreens and Kroger's to get various items to prepare our Secret Boo packages. I'm not sure who started this in our neighborhood but it is a cute chain where random people receive a little basket or cup full of candy on their porch along with 2 pieces of paper. One with a little poem explaining the Secret Boo and another with a picture of a ghost. So when you receive your candy basket you are supposed to make 2 copies of the pages and give candy baskets & the copied pages to 2 other neighbors. If you've already beed Boo'd you put your ghost paper on your front door or window so people know who already got a package. So the north side of the neighborhood has almost completely been covered with Boos. I have the neighbors in mind that I want to Boo so I hope no one Boos them before I do!! John and I will do some stealth Booing this evening.....

PS--I just want to prepare everyone that I may have misrepresented when my next doctor appointment is. Usually the doctor's office calls to confirm my appointment a few days in advance which means I should have gotten a call on Friday to confirm Monday's appointment. I didn't get a call. I will call them on Monday morning but now I am a little worried that I may have written the wrong date on my calendar???
