We are alive. It's been a crazy week as usual. Unfortunately I got sick this week and had to miss work on Friday. It was really a bummer I was sick this weekend because my dear childhood friend, Veronica, was in NYC this weekend. Now here's a good believe-it-or-not story for you: Veronica told me she was coming up to New York with her boyfriend to visit boyfriend's sister for her(the sister's) birthday. To make a short story short, it all comes together that Veronica's boyfriend and his sister went to high school with Kyle and his older brother and everyone knows everyone so what a teeny weeny world this is, huh?!
We all got together last night and then went to a Yankees game today so we had a good time despite the rainy forecast this weekend. Tomorrow is a work day and we have a big deadline coming up on Friday so I may not have much to say this week but I just wanted to check in. Kyle is up at work as I write this. He is doing such a good job and I'm proud of his commitment to do his best even though the hours are quite demanding.
